The Cakery is a great spot for breakfast, lunch and delicious homemade baked goods, including cakes of every kind, made to order. Owner Sarah Gauvin refers to her business as "a non-alcoholic Cheers," where everyone who walks through the door is greeted by name and given kind, friendly service. She had only a little time to talk about her cake masterpieces before returning to work on her current creation: a red velvet armadillo. Sarah has baked everything from roulette wheels and castles to dog-shaped cakes, all made from scratch. The shop also serves modestly priced breakfast and lunch, with original sandwich creations and homemade soup every day.
