They did the same to me. I brought in aluminum and copper. After he weighed it he threw it into his pile, then he handed me a twenty dollar bill. I said the aluninum wheel was worth $12.00, plus the 3 condensors. Not to mention the copper. He said next time take it to the place that pays $12.00 for wheels. Rip off bastards. From that point on, I have gone to Gladu or Berger. They are very honest.

always get fair market pricing, they pick up at all my locations when i call them, never had a bad experience!!!!!

L&R scrap metal is a dishonest, no class waste of time and space.
After my disappointing dealing with this company I was telling my story to others only to find out that they had the same exact rip off maneuver pulled on them too! So here's your fyi: Called them to get prices paid on material delivered, told that of under a ton they will give me a price on the lot (about 800lbs of mostly steel), you trailer scrap to them, unload it and that's when they tell you they wont pay for less than a ton but you can leave it there if you like. (covenant for them). complete waste of time and gas money. So before you waste your time packing up scrap twice and taking elsewhere like i did to get paid just go elsewhere.
