YWCA Rhode Island will be offering winter vacation camp during school break on Dec. 24, 26, 27, 28, and 31, 2012. Camp hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and preregistration is required.
YWCA Rhode Island vacation camps are safe and affordable with experienced staff providing fun activities.
Three camp options are available:
- Doodle Bugs Camp is centered around a Winter Wonderland theme for children 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years of age to enjoy stories, games and activities. Camp hours are 9am to 1pm with other options available for families needing additional hours.
-Busy Bee Campers ages 3 to 5 will enjoy games and activities. They will also hear stories by Laura Numeroff: If you Give a Moose A Muffin, If You Take A Mouse to the Movies, etc. Camp hours are 9am to 1pm and/or noon to 4pm, other options available for families needing additional hours.
- For older youth ages 6 to 15, Adventure Camp offers sports, arts/crafts, cooking, dramatic play, imagination/creativity, games and sledding at Cold Spring Park as weather permits.
