Election Day: Culmination of Campaigns, Let the People Decide

Reflections on Election Day 2012.

After months or even years in some cases, today, Election Day, marks the culmination of time and treasure that candidates and their supporters have invested.

Regardless of the office: local, state or federal or political affiliation: Democrat, Republican or Independent, I urge everyone to take the time and cast your ballot.  In addition to the races being contested, there are 9 referenda questions on the ballot that will have serious impact on the financial future of RI.  Two local issues could/will have an impact on the Woon. Education Department and local office holders.  Take a few moments and educate yourself on these questions.  Good luck to everyone.

This is an important part of being an active citizen.

As I once read, "vote or you have no one to blame but yourself."
