Wickford Barracks: Troopers arrest man for sex offender supervision violations
At 11:14 a.m. Dec. 30, Troopers arrested Michael Dorego, 36, of 233 Second St., Woonsocket, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Violation of Community Supervision (for Sex Offense Against a Child – Fondling) originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Department of Corrections Detective Division.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South, in the City of Warwick, in which Dorego was the passenger. State Police report Dorego failed to notify his parole officer of his earlier arrest by Groton, CT police. Also, State Police allege Dorego further violated the rules of Community Supervision in failing to abstain from narcotics and refusing to submit to a chemical test.
Dorego was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, and released.
Wickford Barracks: Troopers arrest man on suspended license warrant after traffic stop
On Jan. 3., 2013, at 3 p.m., Troopers arrested David Estrada, age 25, of 10 West St., Woonsocket, RI on a 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving With a Suspended License from the Smithfield Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. Estrada was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
