Thursday Five: Brien, Commission, Musical Stories, Bingo!

Brien - Current Dist. 50 Rep. Jon Brien will host a press conference today at 10 a.m. at Pepin Lumber, according to Ian Donnis' WRNI blog, On Politics, to discuss his next move following his 50-vote loss to firefighter Stephen Casey.

Commission - Today the Woonsocket Budget Commission will meet at 3:30 p.m. third floor at City Hall for its open session. Among other items, the Commission will hear Schools Superintendent Giovanna Donoyan about the School Committee's recommendation for a financial controller for the department.

Musical storytime - The Woonsocket Harris Public Library features a program focusing on sensory storytelling with music movement and a craft today at 1 p.m.. Parents attend program with children. Runs for 8 weeks. To register, call 769-9044 ext 2 or email cgoldstein@woonsocketlibrary.org.

Bingo!: Come to Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Rectory, 1409 Park Ave, Woonsocket,RI every Thursday night at 6pm for Bingo Night. 

Line Dancing: Line Dancing classes and activities are held every Thursday at Woonsocket Senior Services, 84 Social St, Woonsocket, RI  from 1:15 - 3 p.m.
