Santa Holding Court At City Hall Tonight Through Dec. 22

St. Nick appearing at Santa House during select evenings.

Starting tonight, Santa will be making a few evening appearances between now and Dec. 22, thanks to the hard work of local volunteers.

Linda Plays at Mayor Leo Fontaine's office said there are a lot of families who take advantage of the opportunity to get their kids some face time with St. Nick without leaving the city. "We actually get a lot of calls from people who can't go to the malls," Plays said.

Santa will be available to sit down with local children at the Santa House at the mini-park next to City Hall during the following days and hours:

Wednesday-Dec. 12, 5-7 p.m.

Thursday-Dec. 13, 6-8 p.m.

Saturday-Dec. 15, 5-7 p.m.

Tuesday- Dec. 18, 6-8 p.m.

Thursday-Dec. 20, 6-8 p.m.

Saturday-Dec. 22, 5-7 p.m.

Unwrapped gifts to be donated to the Woonsocket Police Toys for Tots effort will be accepted at the Santa House during these times as well.
