Rhodes Avenue To Close For Sewer Repairs Tuesday, Wednesday
Road will be closed to traffic 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
If you use Rhodes Avenue regularly, start making alternate plans for Tuesday and Wednesday.
On those days (weather permitting), Rhodes Avenue will be closed from Second Avenue to Mendon Road (North Smithfield) for necessary sewer main repair work in the area of Seventh Avenue. There will be no thru traffic or trucking from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you normally travel Rhodes Avenue, the city's engineering department asks that you seek an alternate route.
"We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding," wrote Michael Debroisse, Superintendent of Solid Waste/Engineering.
