Update: A check with the WPD confirmed the detour of North Main Street around Monument Square has been restored Thursday morning.
A detour around the replica Arc de Triomphe being built in Monument has been removed, allowing traffic flow normally through Monument Square for the time being tonight.
Work is expected to continue on the temporary tribute to the triumphal arch in Paris, so the detours may return before the 125th Block Party Centerpiece is finished.
The art installation is part of preparations for the city's $70,000 125th Block Party Aug. 29, which is being paid for through donations and fundraising.
