Ceremony Will Honor WWI Vet William Jolicoeur Oct. 3
Woonsocket War Memorial Committee will present newly restored Place Jolicoeur Monument.
The Woonsocket War Memorial Committee will conduct a Remembrance Ceremony of WWI Veteran, William Jolicoeur on Oct. 3, the anniversary date of his passing in 1921.
The ceremony will take place at Fire Station #2, 5 Cumberland Hill Road, Woonsocket, RI. The event will also present the recently restored Place Jolicoeur Monument.

The public is invited to attend beginning at 4 pm. Invited guests include a representation of the RI National Guard, Honor Guard and Flag Line by volunteers of Patriot Guard Riders, United Veterans Council, Mayor Leo Fontaine, members of the City Council, members of Woonsocket War Memorial Committee, and the family of William Jolicoeur.
