More than 100 people came to the grand opening of Lisa Baldelli-Hunt’s campaign headquarters at 987 Cass Ave. last week and the campaign is preparing for more people Friday at a free Dynamite Dinner at the Woonsocket Elks Club to kick off her campaign for Mayor of Woonsocket.
The campaign kick-off will take place Friday night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Elks Hall on 380 Social St.
“With the opening of our headquarters and the campaign kick-off Friday, we are getting into high gear and starting the process of reaching out to the people of Woonsocket,” said Baldelli-Hunt. “I believe it’s time to take back control of our city, to elect a strong Mayor who will lead, get our finances in order, and get serious about economic development.”

Baldelli-Hunt added, “We had a great turnout for the opening of our headquarters and I hope people will join us Friday night and be a part of the effort to get Woonsocket moving forward again.”
