Woonsocket Police are asking the public's help in locating the owner of an urn containing a small bag of ashes.
The urn, about four inches tall, silver in color, with a bright flower pattern, was turned over to the WPD at 242 Clinton St. Nov. 1 after it was found in a box among miscellaneous items in an abandoned unit at a local storage facility, said Information Officer Det. Jamie Paone.
Paone said the urn has no connection with police investigations. "We're just trying to do the right thing," she said.
