Woonsocket Police located and arrested Joshua Rojas, 19, on Hebert Street Dec. 5, charging him in the Nov. 30 theft of a firearm from an acquaintance.

On Nov. 30, Rojas was in a vehicle on Harris Avenue with two men, a friend and a friend of a friend. Rojas, who knew from past encounters that the second man carried a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol, pointed his own gun at his acquaintance and demanded the weapon, according to police reports.

The other passenger handed over his gun, for which he had a legal license to carry, and Rojas took it and fled, pointing the man's own gun at him as he left, according to a report.
