Woonsocket Man Charged with Champagne Bottle Attack on New Year's
Michael Smith was arrested this week.
Woonsocket police this week they arrested a man accused of smashing a champagne bottle over a man's head in the city New Year's Day.
WPRI reported Michael Smith, 22, also allegedly pistol-whipped the man.
Police said Smith and another man attacked the 24-year-old victim on North Main Street.
