2 Firefighters Hurt Battling Blaze at Louise Street 3-Decker

Smoke and flames could be pouring out of each level of the building Thursday night.

Two firefighters were hurt battling a fire on Louse Street Thursday night.

WPRI.com reported the firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries. 

The blaze was reported at about 5:30 p.m. It quickly reached two alarms before fire crews knocked it down. Crews reported having problems with a nearby hydrant.

Twelve residents were reportedly displaced. The local Red Cross was called to the scene to help out.
