State Troopers Log: Drivers Awry, Assault On Corrections Officer

Lincoln woods barracks:

At 11 p.m., April 19, troopers arrested Xavier A Diaz, age 26, of 441 Woonasquatucket Ave., North Providence, RI on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks for 1) Operating on a Suspended License and 2) Obstruction. Diaz was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Sixth District Court.

At 5:10 p.m., April 18, troopers arrested Jennifer L. Delaurier, age 39, of 288 Ward St., 2nd Floor, Woonsocket, RI, for 1) Possession of Crack Cocaine, 2) Possession of Oxycodone, 3) Possession of Clonazepam, 4) Driving Under the Influence of Narcotics (Blood Results Pending).

The arrest was the result of several 911 calls regarding erratic operation and a subsequent motor vehicle stop on Route 146 south in the Town of Lincoln. Delaurier was transported to the Lincoln Barracks where she was processed, arraigned before Justice of the Peace Capozza and released after posting cash bail.

On Thursday, April 19, detectives arrested Tyrone C. Butler, age 31, of 26 Alwin St., Hyde Park, Massachusetts, for Assault on a Correctional Officer. Mr. Butler was taken into custody at the Woonsocket Police Station and transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was initially arraigned before a Bail Commissioner and then transported to the Intake Service Center.

On Friday, April 20, Butler was formally arraigned in Third Division District Court. Bail was set at $10,000 with surety and he was remanded to the custody of the ACI.
