State Trooper Log: Suspended Licenses, A Hit and Run Arrest

Man arrested for failing to appear on suspended license charge

At 5:30 p.m. Oct. 28 Troopers arrested Ronny Genao Age: 26 of 104 Fourth Avenue, Woonsocket , RI for 1) Driving on a suspended license 2) 6th District Court bench warrant for FTA/ATP on an original charge of driving on a suspended license out of the Woonsocket Police Department. Genao was transported to the Scituate Barracks where he was processed and later taken to the ACI Intake center pending morning arraignment.

Troopers arrest man for Hit and Run 

At 10 p.m., Troopers arrested Robert Forcier, age 45, of 124 Oregon Avenue, Woonsocket, RI for Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Damage to an Attended Vehicle. Forcier was processed, arraigned and released pending future court dates.

Troopers arrest man for DUI 

Between Friday, Oct. 25, and Sunday, Oct. 27, the Rhode Island State Police arrested a total of eleven subjects for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or drugs, including one City man.

Scott Olson, age 42, of 77 Vivian St., Woonsocket, was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs, blood alcohol content unknown, and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Troopers nab suspended license court scofflaw

On Oct. 30 At 10:05 a.m., Troopers arrested Eleanor Smith, age 39, of 293 Manton Avenue Providence, RI on a Sixth Division District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay on an original charge of Driving Without a License from the Woonsocket Police Department. Smith was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed and later transported to Sixth District Court.

Man arrested for failing to show for marijuana possession court date

On Nov. 1 At 11:30 p.m., Troopers arrested Steve Al-Muhstaseb, age 24, of 43 Sheridan St. Central Falls, RI for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial on the original charge of Possession of Marijuana – 1st Offense originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. Al-Muhstaseb was transported to Headquarters, processed, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution.
