State Trooper Log: Suspended License Scofflaw and a Spurious Sex Offender

Troopers arrest woman for not showing on suspended license charge
At 5:45 p.m. Oct. 18, Troopers arrested Deanna Gauvin, 27, of 276 Morin St., Woonsocket, for 1) 6th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay, on a charge of Operating on a Suspended License, originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department.
Gauvin was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Female Intake Center.

Troopers arrest sex offender for failing to register, filing false report
On Oct. 15, members of the Detective Bureau arrested Nicholas T. Walker, 25, with a last known address of 76 Adams St., North Providence, Rhode Island, on Affidavits and Arrest Warrants for Filing a False Report of a Crime out of the Rhode Island State Police and for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender out of the North Providence Police Department.
Walker was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and arraigned before a Justice of the Peace. He was subsequently turned over to the North Providence Police Department.
