State Trooper Log: Man Arrested for Skipping Court
Local failed to appear on driving without consent, obstruction charges.
At 12:10 a.m. Nov. 19, troopers arrested Douglas Andrews, 30, of 333 Clinton St., Woonsocket, RI for 1) a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre Arraignment on an original charge of Driving without Consent of Owner originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks and 2) a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Obstructing a Police Officer originating out of the Scituate Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and troopers responding to an address in Woonsocket.
Andrews was transported to Headquarters, processed, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution.
