State Trooper Log: DUI Arrest, Drivers Skipping Court

Cell phone caller, victim lead troopers to driver under the influence

At 5:10 p.m. May 7, troopers arrested Jammie Harris, age 39, of 104 Sayles St., Woonsocket, RI for: 1.) Duty to Stop Accident Resulting – Personal Injury, 2.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor or Drugs – 1st Offense (1st Phase- .194, 2nd Phase- .208). 3.) Driving on a Suspended License and a 4.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant.

The arrest was the result of a cellular caller reporting an erratic operator to RI State Police Headquarters and the victim contacting the Hope Valley Barracks. Harris was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and later transported to Adult Correctional Institution. The subject will have a bail review/arraignment at 4th District Court this morning.

Scituate Barracks:

Vehicle stop results in arrest for failure to appear

On May 5 at 10:30 p.m., troopers arrested Jefferey A. Pare, age 25, of 59 Gaulin Ave., Woonsocket, for a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Determination on a Felony Conspiracy charge, originating from the Woonsocket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 99 in Woonsocket. Pare was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution.

Scituate Barracks:

Vehicle stop leads to discovery of driver not showing up for court

On May 4 at 7 p.m., Troopers arrested David Kennedy, age 22, of 24 School St., Apt. 2, Albion, RI, for 1.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Presentation as a Violator on the charge of Possession of Schedule I-V Controlled Substance, originating from the Woonsocket Police Department and 2.) Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the charge of Simple Assault, originating from the Woonsocket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Center Street in the City of Woonsocket. Kennedy was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed and later turned over the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center.
