State Trooper Log: Bad Choice In Shortcuts, Seatbelt Check Turns Up Fugitive

Lincoln woods barracks: Man makes unwise choice in shortcut

At 4:35 a.m. May 26, troopers arrested John McParlin, age 55, of 47 Paradis Ave., on an affidavit arrest warrant from the Woonsocket Police Department for Simple Assault and Battery.

The arrest was the result of the subject located cutting through the back lot of the Lincoln Barracks. Subject was processed before being turned over to the Woonsocket Police Department.

Scituate Barracks: Seat belt check turns up fugitive

At 3:30 p.m. May 27, troopers arrested Janessa Ladouceur, age 25, of 335 Pond St., as a Fugitive from Justice out of the North Attleborough Massachusetts Police Department on a Larceny charge.

The arrest was the result of an initial motor vehicle stop conducted during the seat belt enforcement detail and subsequent followup investigation at Ladouceur's residence. She was transported to headquarters, processed, special arraigned and then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution

Scituate barracks: Traffic stop leads to arrest for failing to appear on suspended license charge

At 6:06 p.m. May 28, Troopers arrested Philip Demming, age 42, of 525 Second Ave., Apt. 108, Woonsocket, RI for a 6th District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear on the Ability to Pay on a charge of Driving on a Suspended License originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on First Avenue in Woonsocket. Demming was transported to Headquarters for processing and then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

Scituate barracks: Troopers stop man who failed to appear on domestic assault charge

At 4:45 p.m. May 28, Troopers arrested William Greene, age 43, of 337 Third Ave., for a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on a charge of Simple Domestic Assault 2nd Offense originating from the East Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Fairmount Street in the City of Woonsocket. Greene was transported to Headquarters for processing and then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

Lincoln barracks: Troopers arrest man for failing to appear on drving with suspended license charge

On Monday May 28 at 2:30 p.m. Troopers arrested Kelvin Ramon, age 25, of 226B River St., Woonsocket, Rhode Island for a Sixth Division District Court warrant for failure to appear for ability to pay on an original charge of Driving With a Suspended License out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop at the Twin River Road entrance to Lincoln Woods State Park.
