State Trooper Log: Arrests For Suspended License, Failing To Appear

The following arrest information was supplied by the RI State Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Man arrested for operating on suspended license

On Tuesday, Sept. 4 At 10:21 a.m., Troopers arrested Jay Shorts, age 20, of 200 Providence St., Woonsocket, Rhode Island on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant originating out of Rhode Island State Police Headquarters on the original charge of Operating Under a Suspended License.

The arrest was the result of a follow-up investigation and Troopers responding to the residence. Shorts was transported to State Police Lincoln Barracks, processed, and transported to the ACI Intake.

On Tuesday, Sept. 4 At 12:29 p.m., Troopers arrested Jose Campos, age 24, of 24 Hope Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for a Family Court Bench Warrant with a Reciprocal Body Attachment for Failure to Appear Non-Support.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in the City of Providence. Subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed and transported to the ACI Intake.
