State Trooper Log: Suspended License Scofflaws Arrested

State Troopers caught up to and arrested two people who didn't show up for their court dates for suspended license charges in Woonsocket and North Smithfield this week.

The first arrest happened Sept. 9, 3:30 p.m., when troopers made a motor vehicle stop on Route 44 in Smithfield.

The driver, Jacqualyn Revell, 20, of 284 Central St., Burrilville, RI, was wanted on a Sixth District Court bench warrant for failure to appear/ability to pay on a charge of driving on a suspended license from Woonsocket Police. Troopers arrested her, taking her to the Scituate Barracks where she was processed, and later transported to the ACI.

Then, on Sept. 11 at 4:49 p.m., troopers arrested Joseph Cullen, 43, of 74 Farm St., on a Third District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for ability to pay on a driving with suspended license charge from the North Smithfield Police Department.

Cullen was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace and later released.
