Luis Pabon, 35, was driving past 777 Cass Ave., with a large GPS unit on the drivers side window and a large crack on the window, both blocking his view.
Those elements of his driving style earned Pabon a traffic stop interview with Officer Andrew Girard. Girard stopped Papon's car, and when he approached he noticed there were several open beer containers on the front passenger side floor.
A check of Pabon's license and revealed he had a Superior Court warrant for a suspended sentence violation and a Woonsocket Police warrant for failing to register a change of address as a sex offender. He was also wanted as a fugitive from justice by the United States Marshals in Virginia, and his MA drivers license was suspended.
Girard arrested Pabon for the warrants, fugitive from justice charge and driving with a suspended license. He was transported to the Woonsocket Police Station, where he was also issued a citation for presence of an alcoholic beverage while operating a motor vehicle, and obstructed view.
