The man got out of his vehicle as they came near, and placed a plastic grocery bag in the bushes. When officers checked the bag they discovered several smaller individually wrapped bags of what they suspected was heroin and crack cocaine. In the vehicle, police located drug packing materials.

The man, identified as Ezequiel Santiago, 25, of 301 Ward St. Woonsocket, was arrested and charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine With Intent to Deliver and Possession of Heroin With Intent To Deliver. Santiago was  transported to Woonsocket Police Headquarters on Clinton Street for processing, then brought to District Court this morning.
