Fontaine said Perry, who was there with a friend she had never seen before, beckoned to her through the window to step outside. When she did, she said, Perry punched her in the face. She said the blow knocked her off her feet and to the ground, where she struck her elbow on the concrete.

After, both men left, Perry on a bicycle, Fontaine said. She said she had filed a complaint against Perry, accusing him of stealing her laptop, for which he had been arrested the previous evening. She said she was sure Perry attacked her because of her report.
