Boy Found Wandering Alone in Woonsocket

The boy was found on Ballou Street Saturday, police said.

Woonsocket police have located the parent of a boy found wandering alone on Ballou Street Saturday.

At about 12:45 p.m., police issued a Nixle alert to spread the word that they were looking for the boy's parents. Police said they found one of his parents at about 4 p.m., according to WPRI.com.

Police said an investigation is ongoing.
