Officials Search for Escaped Sex Offender
The following information was provided by the Rhode Island State Police
The Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force is searching for Robert Leroy Spaulding, 34, with a last known address of Greenville Ave. in Johnston.
According to police, Spaulding has escaped from home confinement.
He was awaiting trial on 1st Degree Child Molestation and 2 counts of being in violation of the Sex Offender Notification of Change of Address.
He is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, 140 lbs., brown hair, brown eyes, having a tattoo right shoulder, tattoo left shoulder, tatto upper right arm.
Spaulding may be operating RI registration 535375 displayed on a 1997 Saab 900 four door color green. Vehicle depicted is a similar looking vehicle.
Spaulding has also lived in Burrillville, Glocester, and Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He also lived in Massachusetts in past.
