Hero Rescues Man from Burning Home in Burrillville
Tim Durand, of Burrillville, was credited with rescuing a man Thursday night.
A bystander rescued a man from a burning home in Burrillville Thursday night.
NBC 10 reported Tim Durand was driving by the home, located on Wallum Lake Road, when he saw flames.
"I ran over and knocked on the guy’s door, I pulled the screen door open, kicked his front door in and then ultimately I got him out of the house," Durand told NBC 10. "It looked like he was sleeping ... I didn’t hear any smoke detectors going off or anything so I guess he got lucky today."
