Fire At Elderly High-Rise Sunday Prompted Temporary Evacuation
Residents of all but four apartments returned to their homes.
Woonsocket Firefighters repsonded to a first-floor fire at Chateau Clare, 16 Greene St., early Sunday morning, according to the Providence Journal.
The Woonsocket Call reports about 30 residents were displaced. Their website has a photo of firefighters inside the building.
The Journal reports the residents from all but four apartments were allowed to return to their homes.
