Readers' Choice: Best Place to Take Your Taxes

It's tax time - tell us where to get the best deal.

It's April, and with this month's showers comes the annual tax filing deadline.

Will your tax return aim a little sunshine into a rainy day, or do you need to settle with the state and Uncle Sam, ASAP? Having the right person to sort through all the forms and deductions can be a huge relief during a stress-filled time of the year.

This week, we want to know: where do you take your taxes when time is running short?

Do you prefer , , , , , , , or ?

Vote in our poll below, then share your thoughts in the comments section. If we left your favorite service off the list, note that in the comments as well.

We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9 a.m. Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick. Then be sure to watch the site over the weekend when we tally up the top votes and announce the tax preparer that got the most rave reviews across all of our Rhode Island sites.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Best place to take your taxes? The Blackstone River…and watch them float away.

I feel stupid asking this, but....where is the Poll? I don't see the link!

la_mouffette - No need to feel stupid. The poll was missing - it's up now. Please accept my apologies. You may vote at will.
