Let's Hear it: You Know You're From Woonsocket When...

Hey neighbors, help us finish the headline!

Is it that you have a recipe for dynamites and meat pies, or that you still get Fish and Chips from on Fridays? Is it that you remember speed-skating at Roller Kingdom or that you can name five people that worked in a mill? Finish the headline to tell us how out-of-towners know that YOU are from Woonsocket.

We want to hear your answers. Let's see who will post the funniest, most clever and most obvious, and as always, remember our terms of use and keep-it family friendly. Ready? Go!

Driving to Providence is too far to go to dinner. The potholes are deeper than your basement. Going down to the water treatment plant on Manville Road after playing baseball at "the field" for a drink and acting like we'd never been there before, so the guard would bring us to the top of the storage tanks to look in. Waiting 30 yrs for 99 to be built.
