Full-Day Kindergarten in Woonsocket?

FROM AUGUST 2013
...Full-Day Kindergarten isn't likely to return this September, said John Ward....Ward said the Budget Commission won't support raising taxes to bring back the program. "We've already asked for all there is to ask for there," he said.

Well John, whats the excuse now?...

Proof is in the pudding folks: John, Leo and the previous administration had ZERO political connections, ZERO resources within the administration to make FDK work and ZERO idea how to get things done.

The LBH administration figured this out in 4 months!

give me a break February 25, 2014 at 02:46 PMcall it what it is really FULL TIME TAX PAYER BABYSITTING
- no raised taxes buddy

SMD February 25, 2014 at 06:48 PMWhy is the Superintendent and Mayor so hell bent on spending money on this All Day K plan when everyone else sees that its all a sham that is going to cost us millions
- you always speak too soon my friend - no money is being spent, its all granted/received

The Griz February 27, 2014 at 08:15 PMFull day K won't happen. The City Council has basically said that they're not sure, the public has overwhelmingly told her that we don't want it and now the and now the Budget Commision has added their doubts. The mayor's just trying to figure out a way to bow out "gracefully"...
- BOY WHERE YOU WRONG LIKE THE OTHERS!

John July 26, 2013 at 11:22 AMJack, JDE, Don't be fooled by the politics here. Baldelli is running for Mayor and all the sudden she can "Save" all day Kindergarten...... Where will we get this money next year and the years after?

I'll let that last comment speak for itself...simpletons lol
