Sylvia Moretti, Longtime Woonsocket Resident, Dies at 96
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 62 years, Arthur Moretti.
The following is the obituary for Sylvia Moretti, a longtime Woonsocket resident:
Sylvia Moretti passed away peacefully on April 22, 2014 in San Ramon, Calif. at the age of 96.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 62 years, Arthur Moretti, her brother, Emo Santini, and two sisters, Anne Preservati and Josphine Calarese. Sylvia is survived by her daughter Judie Jahnke, son Jim Moretti, both of San Ramon, Calif., granddaughter Gina Butorovich of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and granddaughter Lisa Driver of Omaha, Nebraska.

Sylvia spent most of her life with her husband in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She and her husband moved to Walnut Creek, Calif. in 1993 where she spent the last 20 years, before recently moving to San Ramon, Calif. Interment will be on April 30, 2014 in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette, Calif.
