Paulette “Bunny” L. (Benjamin) Allen-Duarte, 71: Lab Tech for A.T. Cross

Paulette “Bunny” L. (Benjamin) Allen-Duarte, 71, of Greene St., died Dec. 24, 2013 at home, according to Holt Funeral Home.

She was the wife of John F. Duarte. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Henault) Benjamin. Paulette worked as a lab technician for A.T. Cross, Lincoln. She enjoyed the beach, music and singing and was a member of several bands in her younger years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Gilbert Allen of Somerset, MA, a brother, Robert Benjamin of Georgetown, MA, two sisters, Doris Galipeau of Allentown, PA and Lucille Nadeau of No. Smithfield and four grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Glen Allen and sister of the late Edward, Ovila “Ben” and George Benjamin, Lillian Ward, Irene Dagesse, Edith Lambert and Suzanne Sarazin.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
