Paul G. Guilbert: Microwave Development Lab Retiree, Civil Air Patrol Member

Woonsocket native died at home Jan. 22.

 

Paul G. Guilbert, 71, of Woonsocket died Tuesday at home, according to the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home.

He was the former husband and friend of Pauline (Martin) Farrell of South Carolina.

Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Edgar and Flore (Gibeau) Guilbert. He was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mr. Guilbert was employed by Microwave Development Lab with his career spanning over 50 years.

Paul was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.

He is survived by three sons Roger Guilbert of Elgin, SC, David Guilbert, and his wife Ashley of Charleston, SC, and Michael Guilbert of Woonsocket, and a daughter Linda Lancaster of Charleston, SC. He was the brother of Camille Guilbert, Doris Bartholomy, Adrienne Johnson, Germaine Lefebvre and the late Alice Bissonnette and Henriette Beaulieu. He is also survived by three granddaughters Erica Lancaster, Kaitlin and Samantha Guilbert and many nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of the late Gabrielle Guilbert.

His funeral service will be Wednesday at 10:30 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will be private at a later date.
