Olive C. (Winsor) Wojcik, 89, Head Start Program Employee

Olive C. (Winsor) Wojcik, 89, of West Harkness Road, died Oct. 5, 2013 at home, according to Holt Funeral Home

Born in Harrisville, she was the daughter of the late Earle and Lillian (Recore) Winsor and wife of the late Joseph S. Wojcik. Mrs. Wojcik worked for Tupperware, North Smithfield for over twenty years retiring as a supervisor, she also worked for the Head Start Program, Woonsocket, and the Arc of Northern Rhode Island. Olive was an avid gardener. She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Paradis of North Smithfield, Wilma "Billie" Hunter of Griswold, CT, and Allyson Hooper of Eureka, MT; her brother, Earle Winsor, Jr. of Springfield, VA; her sister, Frances Jarvis of Barrington; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was sister to the late Gertrude Couture, Iola Galloway, and Eva Piette.

Visiting hours will be held today, beginning at 4 p.m., followed by a service at 6:30 p.m. in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Cancer Research Fund, 7301 Ohms Lane, Suite 460, Minneapolis MN 55439.
