Lucienne (Faubert) Lemay, 77: Inspector for New England Instruments, Quilter, Traveler

Lucienne (Faubert) Lemay, 77, of No. Smithfield, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 in her home, according to Holt Funeral Home.

She was the wife of Normand T. Lemay, whom she married Oct. 12, 1991 and the late Arthur T. Wigglesworth. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leo Faubert, Sr. and Georgette (Badeau) Faubert. Lucienne was an inspector for New England Instruments and was formerly a seamstress for Fashion Sports Ware, both in Woonsocket.

She loved quilting, sewing, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Besides her husband, Normand, she leaves three stepchildren, Normand T. Lemay and his wife Carmen of Minneapolis, MN, Michael A. Lemay of Woonsocket, and Michelle A. Young and her husband, Michael of No. Attleboro, MA, and four grandchildren, Adrien and Madeliene Lemay and Caroline and Ryan Young. Lucienne was predeceased by her brother, Leo Faubert, Jr.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013 at 9 a.m. from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Second Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA. Calling hours are Wednesday, from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northern Rhode Island Hematology/Oncology Center, 115 Cass Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
