Lorraine G. Jacobson: Woonsocket Native, CVS Employee

City woman died Tuesday, Dec. 11, at her home.

 

Lorraine G. Jacobson, 70, died Tuesday at home. She was the former wife of the late Donald G. Jacobson, Sr., according to the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home.

Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Harold Trudel and the late Rose (Pelletier) Trudel LeBlanc.

Lorraine was employed by CVS in Woonsocket for several years.

She is survived by a son Donald G. Jacobson Jr. (Gloria) of Woonsocket, three daughters Christine A. Kelly (Michael) of Providence, Deborah L. Schwartz (John) of Pawtucket and Michelle R. Switzer (John) of Woonsocket. She was the mother of the late Raymond L. and Susan M. Jacobson. She was the sister of Harold Trudel, Normand and Roger LeBlanc and Constance Trudel. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Friday from 5-8 p.m.
