Leona Thibault: Loving Wife, Mother, Devout Catholic

Leona Thibault, 94, of Woonsocket, formerly of Lewiston, Maine died Thursday morning at Trinity Health & Rehabilitation Center, according to Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home.

She was the wife of the late Laurier Thibault.

Born and raised in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Boulanger) Patenaude. Following her marriage she resided in Lewiston, ME for more than 60 years prior to relocating to the Woonsocket area several years ago.

Mrs. Thibault was employed at Hillcrest Poultry Company and Raytheon Corporation prior to her retirement.

She was a longtime communicant of Sts. Peter & Paul Parish in Lewiston and a member of the Lewiston Senior Citizens club.

Leona will be remembered as a loving wife and mother and a faithful and devout Catholic.

She is survived by her son Br. Roger Thibault, SC in residence at Mt. St. Charles Academy, Woonsocket, and several nieces and nephews and their families. She was the sister of the late Edmund and Arthur Patenaude and Claire Heroux.
