John LaRose, 75, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013 at Landmark Medical Center with his family by his side, according to Quinn Funeral Home.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Viola (Smith) LaRose. John was employed in accounting at the Raytheon Corp. for many years before retiring.
He is survived by two daughters, Karen Sylvia and Susan LaRose; two brothers, Raymond LaRose and Howard LaRose; three grandchildren, Benjamin, Rachel and Sarah Sylvia. He was the brother of the late Cecil LaRose.
His funeral will be held Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 at 8:45 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, with a service in Grace Episcopal Church, 175 Mathewson Street, Providence, RI 02903 at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
Visiting hours are today, Wednesday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Grace Episcopal Church will be appreciated.
