Jean Paul Mandeville: Canadian Army Vet, Cercle Laurier and Le Club Par-X Member

Canadian transplant lived in city since the 1960s.

 

Jean Paul Mandeville, 93, of Bernon St. Woonsocket died Monday, Dec. 17, at home, according to the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home.

He was the husband of the late Madeleine (Bourgault) Mandeville.

Born in Sorel, PQ. Canada, he was a son of the late Albert and Bernadette (Fleury) Mandeville. He was raised in Sorel and resided in Woonsocket since the early 1960s.

Mr. Mandeville was employed by DiPlacido Moving Company in Wrentham for over 30 years until retiring.

Jean Paul served in the Canadian Army as a young man. He was a life member of Cercle Laurier and Le Club Par-X. He was a Montreal Canadiens fan and was proud of his French-Canadian heritage.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. He was the brother of the late Charles Mandeville, Alice Laliberte, Francoise Boisvert, Jeanne D’Arc Ferriere, and Suzanne Girard.

Burial will be private. Arrangements are by the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket.
