Gloria L. Boucher: Mother, Grandmother, Painter, Loved The Outdoors

Lifelong city resident's died Tuesday at Landmark Medical Center.

 

Gloria L. Boucher, 65, of Fourth Ave., Woonsocket, died Tuesday evening at Landmark Medical Center, according to Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home.

Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Alfred A. and Marie Antoinette (Desilets) Simard. She was a lifelong resident of the city.

Gloria was employed by CVS in Woonsocket for over 20 years before retiring in 2012. She previously worked for Wee Wash It and was also in the painting trade. Gloria enjoyed outdoor activities, particularly fishing and camping.

Gloria will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by three sons Dennis Boucher, and his wife Patricia, of Preston, CT., Stephen Boucher, and his wife Tammy, and David Boucher all of Woonsocket. Her grandchildren Kyle, Zachary and Kelsey Boucher. She is also survived by her life partner Susan E. Anderson of Woonsocket and several aunts uncles and many cousins.

Visiting hours will be Sunday from 3-6 p.m. in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. A memorial service in celebration of Gloria's life will be held at 5:00 pm during visiting hours. Burial will be private.
