Fireworks Spectacular at Patriot Place on July 3 Canceled

Free fireworks show at Patriot Place has been canceled due to weather and to ensure safety of guests.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Patriot Place announced today it has canceled its free Fireworks Spectacular show scheduled for Thursday, July 3, due to severe weather forecasts and concerns for public safety.

“Like many other towns and venues planning fireworks shows for Thursday and Friday, we have been closely following the weather forecasts for the area over the next 48 hours,” said Patriot Place General Manager Brian Earley. “Based on a number of factors, most importantly the weather and safety of our guests, staff and public safety officials, we have decided to cancel the free Fireworks Spectacular at Patriot Place scheduled for Thursday, July 3. We do plan to reschedule the fireworks show for an alternative date in the future.”

The Harvard Pilgrim Finish at the 50 5K and 10K road races planned at Patriot Place for Thursday, July 3, will go on as scheduled. Race management and Patriot Place officials will continue to monitor the weather closely and provide updates to Thursday’s schedule, including pre-race activities atwww.FinishAtThe50.com
