Tyler Seddon, the 7-year-old Burrillville boy who earned the support of law enforcement agencies across the country in his fight against leukemia, is now cancer-free.

His mother reported the news Monday, according to WPRI.com.

There were two bone recent marrow matches for Tyler.

In March, hundreds of police officers and firefighters across the region held a birthday parade for Tyler.

Tyler loves law enforcement and his mother set up a Facebook page asking first responders to send him birthday cards. It resulted in an outpouring of support.

Only thing worst than cancer is a child with cancer. Nice to hear some good news.
