Overcome those summertime blues by coming to see Summer Stock in Concert 2013, featuring the music of Hairspray and Legally Blonde.
The pulsing early days of rock ‘n roll are heard in Hairspray’s songs as teenager Tracy Turnblad tries to integrate Baltimore’s most popular TV dance show while keeping her hair just right. The songs of Legally Blonde tell the story of Elle Woods, a Harvard Law School student who pursues romance, justice, and respect without having to go brunette.
Performances of Summer Stock in Concert 2013 will be held at 7:30 PM on Thursday, August 22, 2013; Friday, August 23, 2013; and Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Milford Performing Arts Center studio at 150 Main Street, Milford. All tickets $8 in advance, at the door $10 for adults and $9 for students and seniors. Advanced tickets can be reserved by emailing mpacsummerstock@gmail.com.
