Liberty Love Fest IV

CUMBERLAND, RI -- Liberty Love Fest IV, a celebration of liberty and freedom through art, music, education, and trade, will be held on Saturday, April 5 from 5-11 pm at the St. Joseph Church Recreation Hall, 1303 Mendon Road, Cumberland. All are invited.

A variety of national and regional musical performers on tap include Grassroot, THINK, Chris Ross, People's Blowback Band, Tatiana Moroz and Jordan Page. A variety of speakers will be discussing themes of freedoms and liberty between the musical acts.

St. Joseph Church in Cumberland has built a new Recreation Hall and is inviting the public to host functions to help offset the cost and help to build a stronger community. One group that has found the Hall to be ideal for their needs is the Liberty Love Fest organization. The LLF has held several events throughout New England and has found St. Joseph Recreation Hall to be the ideal venue for their fourth event, right here in Rhode Island.

On Saturday, April 5th, the LLF volunteer organizers will be providing another great event bringing musicians, artisans, educators of liberty and commercial vendors into the Hall from 5:00pm – 11:00 pm and welcomes the public participation.

The Liberty Love Fest was born in the spring of 2012 in Worcester, Massachusetts, where they held their first event with over 500 in attendance. The LLF organizers felt that there was a need to revitalize the message of freedom as an inherent right of the people and to bring that message to New England by providing a space for musicians, artists, educators and vendors all together in an inclusive forum for this common cause.

Tickets are $17.76 in advance, or $20.14 at the door. As a special community outreach initiative, Spirits of '76 Rhode Island Chapter will be collecting and distributing backpacks to be filled with comfort supplies for Blackstone Valley adults and youth in need. Any participant who brings a backpack with $20 worth of supplies or donates $20 to "sponsor a pack" will be granted free entry.

A cash bar and pizza strips will be available for purchase. As has been a LLF tradition, a potluck dinner will be served, and participants are asked to bring a dinner item, side, or dessert to share. A variety of sponsors, vendors, and nonprofit organizations will offer information and literature and will be selling products, raising funds, and offering raffles.
