Geek New Experiences at Cumberland Public Library

If you have a passion, the Cumberland Public Library has something for you! Join library staff when they host a Geek a New Experience Open House on Saturday, October 19th.

The whole family will be able to check out interactive stations, new experiences, and take home an official "I Geek..." poster with their picture and passion! Sake the Therapy Dog will be in our Children's Department from 10-11 am. Later in the day, meet a real llama as we have a Llamas in the Library celebration!

Teens and adults will have plenty to do as well! Visit our Technology Petting Zoo on the second floor and try an iPad and other devices. Then check out the virtual library station where we will teach you how to take one of over 500 classes or learn one of 27  foreign langauges on our website. Teens can register for a Make Your Own Video Class in the morning or a writer's workshop in the afternoon!

More details can be found on our events page at www.cumberlandlibrary.org. For more information call 401-333-2552 x2 or email reference@cumberlandlibrary.org
