Building Bridges to Community Resources

Learn about community resources and Thundermist services at free fair


Thundermist is pleased to host “Building Bridges to Community Resources,” a free educational fair for the Woonsocket community on Friday, April 26th.


Free and open to the public, the Community Resource Fair aims to educate the community about the array of services that the health center offers, including adult, women’s and pediatric health care, behavioral health services, a walk-in Quick Care clinic and social services including insurance assistance and a discounted pharmacy program. Representatives from 14 agencies throughout Woonsocket will also be available to provide information about free or low cost programs and services, including drug prevention programs, day care services, pre-school and after-school programs, summer programs, and advocacy resources.

“We are very excited to host this Resource Fair for the Woonsocket community,” said Chuck Jones, CEO of Thundermist. “We know it’s so important to help the members of our community connect with all available services, and we are grateful to work with our many partners in Woonsocket to promote the wide array of resources available in our community.”


The Community Resource Fair will take place on Friday, April 26th from 10AM to 1PM at Thundermist Health Center of Woonsocket on 450 Clinton Street. The event is free and open to the public. Event sponsors include Children’s Friend and Family Services, Connecting for Children and Families, CVS, Family Resource Community Action, Woonsocket Head Start, Kid’s Klub, NeighborWorks, NRI Community Services, the Rhode Island Parent Information Network, RiverzEdge, Seven Hills, Walgreens, the Woonsocket Prevention Coalition, the Woonsocket YMCA and the YWCA of Northern Rhode Island; Thundermist is grateful for their support.
