Woonsocket Election 2013: Where's Your Polling Place?

Here's where to find the info you need if you're voting in Woonsocket today.

Today is the 2013 Woonsocket City Election — here's your guide to local polling places and the new Voter ID law.

Polls in Woonsocket will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at various locations throughout each city.

When voters get to their polling place, poll workers will ask them for their name so they can confirm if they are registered to vote. Once eligibility has been confirmed, they will be asked to show a current and valid ID.  Poll workers will then give them a ballot and a paper cover called a "secrecy sleeve." Voters will then proceed to a voting booth, where they can mark their ballot in private.
